Alt-J at O2 Academy Brixton
Overview
Alt-J's rise to the top of the indie-rock firmament has been pretty epic. From releasing their debut album in May 2012, they went on to win the Mercury Music Prize in November of the same year - not bad for a band named after an Apple keyboard character shortcut. Yes, it's been one hell of an awesome wave to ride so far, and it doesn't show any signs of stopping now. The band, which formed at Leeds University in 2007, are set for bigger venues than ever on tour, before the inevitable talk of second album problems starts to kick in!
