Overview
The Building of a Borough: Building Designs is an exhibition from the Local Studies Collection, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, explores the built history of the towns and villages of Richmond-upon-Thames from the 1880s to the 1960s. From workmen's cottages and dairies to grand theatres and large housing estates, some of the thousands of historic building plans are on display, investigating the social history and development of the borough.
