Father Christmas at Lyric Hammersmith

Nearly 40 years after it was first published, Raymond Briggs’ family favourite Father Christmas is set to receive its first ever stage adaptation at the Lyric Hammersmith in a co-production with Pins and Needles Productions, especially for under 6s. Father Christmas awakes from a dream of summer sun only to realise that it’s bloomin’ Christmas Eve and the start of his longest night of the year. With specially commissioned original music and spectacular design the festive story, beloved by generations of children and their parents, will be brought vividly to life by Pins and Needles, the company behind the Lyric Hammersmith’s 2011 Christmas show, Holly and Ivan’s Christmas Adventure.
