Focus at Assembly Hall, Islington

This veteran Dutch prog-rock band has been going since 1969 and despite periods of hiatus they don't look like giving up anytime soon. Formed by the clasically trained Thijs van Leer, Focus won international acclaim with their 1971 album 'Making Waves'. With a list of former members as long as the band's lifespan, this new line-up was finalised in 2006. They take to the road after receiving renewed interest when their song 'Hocus Pocus' was used in a Nike World Cup 2010 commercial.
