Alanis Morissette at The O2
Overview
Forcing her way into public consciousness with Jagged Little Pill in 1995, Alanis Morissette had already released two dance-pop albums as a teenager in her native Canada, before world fame beckoned with the pop edged songs of urban angst on her third full work. Since then she's managed to tread a thin line between successful diva and vulnerable pretention, which has also included acting stints, including playing God in Kevin Smith's Dogma. Now on her eighth studio album: Havoc and Bright Lights, Morissette makes a rare appearance in the UK, mixing latest songs with anthemic classics.
