Tudors Land and Sea at Museum of London Docklands
Overview
Tudors Land and Sea is an exciting dual-site day to experience 16th-century life. Meet Annie, a servant in one of the great houses on London Bridge, to find out about life in Tudor London through dance, role-play and story. The other half of the day is spent on The Golden Hinde living history museum, learning about life at sea under Francis Drake. Guided by one of Drake's crew members, students find out about ship's punishments, healthcare and Drake's voyage around the world. Hands-on elements include raising the anchor and gun drill.
