Valentino: Master of Couture at Somerset House

This major exhibition celebrates the life and work of Italian fashion designer Valentino by showcasing more than 130 haute couture designs worn by big-name stars such as Grace Kelly, Sophia Loren and Gwyneth Paltrow.

Featuring seldom seen dresses from the catwalk and the red carpet, as well as items commissioned by private clients, the exhibition offers a rare glimpse into Valentino's world as well as revealing his exquisite craftsmanship.

Valentino has designed for princesses, first ladies and Hollywood icons. Exhibition highlights include the vintage dress worn by Julia Roberts when she won an Academy Award in 2001 and Jackie Onassis's wedding dress from Valentino's 1968 White Collection.
