A two-week showcase of the world's best new films, the BFI London Film Festival is one of the most anticipated events in London's cultural calendar.
The 12-day celebration of cinema includes screenings of documentaries, shorts, feature films, animation and experimental films from around the world.
The full programme will be announced in September, but expect world premieres, gala screenings, competitions and some of the biggest stars from the film world in attendance.
Last year's festival hosted 227 feature films and 111 short movies from 57 countries, including 13 world premieres.
