Kingston Parkrun at Hawker Centre
Overview
The course is 5000m (5K) long. This has been accurately measured by us with a professional measuring wheel. The course starts and finishes on the tow-path adjacent to the Hawker Center, and is run entirely on a hard surface (tow path) with a short part of the course on grass, although some sections of the course do accumulate mud, leaves and puddles after rain. Dependent on availability, marshals will be at key sections of the course, or temporary signs in place. The start of the Kingston parkrun is on the towpath behind the Hawker centre inline with the end of the chainlink fence. It then follows the upper cycle path to Teddington lock. At the lock you run under the footbridge and continue on the towpath pass Thames Young Mariners and continue until you see a marshal who will direct you onto a small loop on Hamlands ( this will be marshalled/marked or both). This will bring you back out onto the towpath at Thames Young Mariners. From there you follow the outward route back to the Hawker centre and the finish is just off the path in line with the second gate into the centre.
