Study GCSE astronomy at the Royal Observatory Greenwich, with access to a wide range of resources, including experienced tutors, a state-of-the-art digital planetarium and historic 28-inch diameter refracting telescope. Students are assessed through coursework and a final examination. The final write-up of coursework will be supervised. GCSE astronomy covers a wide range of astronomical topics, including the Sun, Earth and Moon, planetary systems, stars, galaxies and cosmology.
