Named after the river that still flows beneath it, aFleet Street was the original home of the newspaper industry nd is the thoroughfare along which kings and queens still enter the City today. Dr Johnson, Samuel Pepys and Sweeney Todd are among the colourful characters to be talked about on this walk – all of them having close connections with the area.
