Overview

In celebration of their history as black women, Sweet Honey in the Rock bring together elements from blues, gospel, rap, reggae, hip-hop, jazz and ancient lullabies to create an arresting performance of music, dance and sign-language that won’t fail to inspire you. Their voices are at once beautifully honeyed and fervently strong, their music steeped in the rich textures of African-American traditions with clarion calls of the civil rights movement ringing through.
