Overview

For the opening event in his Barbican residency, Peruvian tenor Juan Diego Florez invites some of his closest musical friends and collaborators to join him for a celebratory concert accompanied by the London Symphony Orchestra. Joining one of the most luxurious, fresh and heartfelt tenor voices around is the gregarious mezzo Joyce DiDonato and the rousing, marshalling discipline of opera specialist conductor Karel Mark Chichon. Florez’s residency is destined to start in style with this tantalising and star-studded opening concert.
