An Audience with Will Self at Richmond Theatre
Overview
Will Self’s latest book Walking to Hollywood will be published by Bloomsbury in September. The book is an extraordinary triptych in which Self burrows down through the intersections of time, place and psyche to explore some of our deepest fears and anxieties with his characteristic fearlessness and edgy humour. Will Self is certainly Britain’s leading satirical writer, and something of a public figure in combining his roles as a journalist/novelist with forcefully-expressed opinions on current political and social matters. As a journalist he has contributed to a plethora of publications over the years. He has a regular column in the Evening Standard and is also a frequent broadcaster on television and radio. Will lives in London with his partner and four children. Clive Conway Celebrity Productions audiences can attend their own custom-designed ‘lecture’ in An Audience With Will Self. There’ll be a chance to ask questions too. Probably best to bring a dictionary though. He has an awesome vocabulary and he’s not afraid to use it.
