Squeeze at O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire
Overview
A chance to see Squeeze, who are seen to have influenced the sounds of Lily Allen The Feeling and Broken Bells. This London-based pop band came to prominence in the ‘New Wave’ period of the late 1970s and formed in South London in 1973. Known for hits such as Cool for Cats and Up the Junction they have recently re-formed and released a collection of 14 of their best-loved hits entitled, 'Spot The Difference'. These have been re-recorded by the band as faithfully to the original versions as possible. The band have begun to start writing the first new Squeeze material in over 10 years, although there is no set date to record anything yet so fans may have to wait for this experiemental band's hits to reign supreme.
