Overview

Comic and actor Francesca Martinez (born 1978) has cerebral palsy - but prefers to describe herself as 'wobbly'. In 2003 she was listed in The Observer as one of the 50 funniest acts in British comedy. She also made a hilarious appearance in Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant's comedy series ‘Extras’. In her new show, Martinez explores society’s obsession with ‘normal’. It looks at how it is defined it and why so many screwed-up things in the world are called it.
