The Room at Prince Charles Cinema
Overview
Cited as one of the worst films ever made, Tommy Wiseau's opus The Room has become a cult classic since it was released to little fanfare in 2003. The convoluted plot focuses on a melodramatic love triangle - but that's of little concern. What fans love about The Room is its disastrously dubbed dialogue, glaring plot holes, amateur acting, continuity errors, inconsistencies and the fact that Wiseau is deadly serious about it. Screenings of The Room have now become events in their own right - with viewers encouraged to quote along with the hammy dialogue, act out scenes and even throw plastic spoons at the screen.
