Tate Oil Tanks
Overview
The former Bankside Power Station's Oil Tanks – enormous circular spaces over 30 metres across and seven metres high – will open in 2012 as the anchor for Tate Modern's live programme of performance and event-based art.
The opening programme will bring together performances, debates, films and interventions, including major new commissioned installations by artists working across these disciplines.
