Last Fridays - South London Art Map at Core Gallery

Launched in February 2011 the Last Fridays are part of the South London Art Map. A must for art lovers, who can use printed map from the website to visit the 90 art galleries, co-ordinating Last Fridays late gallery openings. The map focuses on three hubs of artistic activity: Deptford - where there are more emerging artists per square mile than in any other part of London, Peckham, which, with the annual Bold Tendencies exhibition in a multi-storey car park is a cutting edge destination for arts, and Bankside (covering a wide area including Bankside, Kennington, Vauxhall and Lambeth), where Tate Modern sits. In addition local artists lead South London Art Tours, to help visitors experience the best of the South London art scene.
