Weekend Intermediate: Canoe or Kayak at The Pirate Castle

An intermediate course that is discipline specific and designed as a follow-on from the beginners' course or for those who have already developed foundation skills in canoeing or kayaking. As well as learning new techniques, participants become more fluid and consistent in the chosen craft and a competent member of an independent group. Many of the techniques covered progress participants towards moving water and white water environments. By the end of the course they should be at a level where they can paddle on still water, as part of a competent group, without supervision of an instructor.
