This evening painting class will address issues of composition, proportion, scale, and colour. While investigating 'landscape', explore the notion of still-life as landscape. Students will learn to stretch their own canvas, prepare the canvas for paint, compose an image, and learn concepts of under-painting, application, glazing and finishing.
