Overview

Come and learn about the great architectural and art traditions and history of the Indian Sub-continent, pre-Vedic, Buddhist, Hindu, Jain, Indo-Islamic, Christian and modern! Our period ranges from around 5000-3000 BC – contemporary with Mesopotamia – through Maurya and Gupta, Chola and Vijayanagar, Sultanate and Mughal, to Indo-British and post-Independence times! 20 weekly lectures. Conducted by Padmashri Dr. John Marr and Mrs Wendy Marr. This course has an optional examination resulting in a certificate.
