My girlfriend and I went to West 5 Brasserie for their Valentine's Day menu on Feb. 14th; mainly because the other restaurant we booked on this site did not accept our booking. The decor and ambience was very nice, modern classy; and the service was fine. The food however was bland, dry (the brisket), and overall boring and unimpressive. not worth the tube trip or the money.

starter we had home made smoked trout which was far too salty. Otherwise the rest of the meal was very nice. As it was valentine's day it would hav been nice to have some time to breathe, the service was express...

A great looking restaurant. The staff were very friendly but a bit chaotic even though the place was nearly empty. The food was underportioned and overcomplicated and pricey!
