The cafe rouge at Victoria is fine, the food is of the standard cage rouge quality (OK) and service is great. The location, however, means that it just lacks something and in turn the atmosphere is more like a McDonalds than a restaurant. We did have a good meal though and it is very convenient.

We had a good meal at Cafe Rouge, the service was a bit slow, particularly towards the end of the evening but other than that it was pretty efficient.

We booked at the establishment in the Victoria Shopping Centre without realising that it was not the best surroundings for the special meal we wanted. However, the food was very good and they even catered for special diets, eg No wheat or Diary menu.

My sister and i went to Cafe Rouge Victoria as we knew what to expect food wise. Food was fine and service is fine as long as you are early. We were there at 5.30pm for a bite to eat before Wicked, which works out fine with location. Definitely not a date venue as the restaurant is set in a shopping centre.

Most chains in the Victoria area seem to be pretty good - probably due to large number of offices in the area. Cafe Rouge is not normally a top choice of ours but in this instance it provided reliable tasty breakfast fare in a pleasant setting. Worth booking for a breakfast as there are very few other restaurants providing breakfast in the area unless going for a hotel one.
