The food was lovely. We were a bit surprised, in a French Polynesian restaurant, to be presented with a Brasilian menu though! But it was very good anyway. The decor is beautiful and the service attentive, overattentive actually. I still haven't recovered from the 1l bottle of still water charged at £6.20, that's really pushing it.

Excellent ambience, fantastic service - such friendly waiters and the food was incredible. When we got there we decided to order a la carte rather than from the set menu. I had piri piri prawns for starters which came half cooked and I then finished cooking them at the table, which was a fun thing to do. For main course I had fillet steak cooked in the wood burning oven which was incredible, the most beautifully (medium) cooked piece of meat. Will definately be going back

We dined at Trader Vic on the 3 courses and a cocktail deal for £30. The menu is limited; 3 choices for starter and main and the desert is pre-determined. There was only one choice for the cocktail. The menu is good value as the food is of a high quality and on average a main course is around £25. The restaurant is quite amusing not quite Hawaii but as close as you might get on a cold February evening. I would recommend ordering off the main cocktail menu as the selection is very good.

Trader Vic's at the Hilton; with friendly staff, lovely ambiance and perfect cocktails an evening there can't go wrong!! If you are looking for a quiet drink mid week to catch up with a friend in style or to impress a date this is sure to do the trick!! Had a fantastic time and would highly recommend!!
