I paid 60£ for a concert with Ginger Baker and special guests. I got 50 minutes of music and one special guest. We saw the bands set list and it matched the numbers played, so The Jazz Café must have known that this was a minor gig, and still they demand 60£ entrance. Jazz Café could ...have arranged additional music or lowered the price. The band didn't even give the audience a chance for an encore as they left stage without a: Thank you and goodnight. This experience borders a scam, and I can't recommend this place to anybody! Unfortunately I have to give the place one star, can't proceed with this review any other way, but actually I would give it none! - SAVE YOUR MONEY DON'T GO TO THE SHOW!!

booh. I tried to come there 2 times. the bouncers are really dumb. they never open on time. it s expensive. the place is full of metal and the sound taking isn t so good. I ve been there to listen to...

booh. I tried to come there 2 times. the bouncers are really dumb. they never open on time. it s expensive. the place is full of metal and the sound taking isn t so good. I ve been there to listen to soulive and my ears hurted me for 2 days. The people in the staff are really amateur compared to the bands there. They are the most famous just because they invest a lot into ads.

My sister and I visited the Jazz Cafe for the first time in April 2005 to see "Swing Out Sister "live in concert. The performance was fantastic as always. But, the venue was a nightmare. We could not understand a club that makes a lot of money from ticket sales could justify having dirty, grime ladies loo and grubby furniture.

On a Next visit (but I doubt it) we would dress down and not where fine cloths. There is no excuse for non clean, fresh smelling public venues to have a home from home feeling where one could enjoy nice evenings out.
