Historic Greenwich in the Movies

Greenwich has played an important part in London's film history – from providing the scene of many crimes in 1971's A Clockwork Orange, to the location of a wizard's hospital in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

Daniel Craig has filmed here twice. The map shows you where his character in Layer Cake made a failed assassination attempt, as well as the Old Royal Naval College, a key location for The Golden Compass, starring Nicole Kidman.

The Isle of Dogs on Film

The Isle of Dogs has been a regular star of the big screen. Films featuring this unique London location include 28 Weeks Later, Johnny English, The Bourne Supremacy, Sliding Doors and James Bond's The World Is Not Enough.

Tower Hamlets Council has teamed up with Canary Wharf Group to produce a movie map so you can take in the sights and perhaps reenact some movie moments too.
