Express By Holiday Inn London Limehouse

costruzione in cemento armato e mattoni rossi non rende bene dall'esterno qualità servizio che offre all'interno. stanze grandi con arredamento nuovo, moderno, minimal, funzionale e ben conservato. molto pulite. receptionists un pò sulle loro (niente buongiorno/buonasera) ma molto disponibili ed esaurienti a richieste clienti. una sola postazione internet e a pagamento! colazione semplice ma abbondante (ma stile mediterraneo,niente uova strapazzate e bacon!). raggiungibile in pochi minuti di treno dalla fermata di tower hill (pressi tower bridge e tower of london). nel complesso molto buono (se non si intende tornarci spesso durante giornata perchè non proprio a due passi dal cuore di londra).

For a basic hotel - it's a Holiday Inn, after all - I have to say Holiday Express at Limehouse really does deliver. I stayed in Room 313 and it was clean, warm and comfortable, had all necessary amenities (coffee-making facilities, mugs, hairdryer, TV, writing desk, good desklight) and even a couch. The staff were all great - helpful, friendly, and offered me free internet on their own computer when the one in the lobby was not working. The continental breakfast was also good and very comprehensive - rolls, croissants, toast, yoghurts, fruit, cheese and cereals. My point is that this is a truly affordable hotel in London which gives you a truly pleasant stay. So much of London charge you the sky and offer you so little; this hotel is definitely a different experience. I just hope they keep it affordable and do not raise the prices too much!
