ottimo rapporto qualita' prezzo

Avevamo già pernottato in altri hotel della Catena in altre città Europee e devo dire che anche questo non ci ha deluso! Lo standard è uguale dappertutto, servizio veramente rapido ed efficiente, la camera ha rispettato i canoni degli altri Novotel; avendo prenotato su Internet alcuni mesi prima, abbiamo goduto di una tariffa veramente concorrenziale! La posizione dell'hotel è ottimo punto di partenza per la visita di Greenwich. L'unico neo è il parcheggio, a pagamento e piuttosto costoso, però, essendo sotterraneo, dà la possibilità di accedere direttamente al piano della propria camera con le valigie, senza grandi sforzi!

Eccellente

Vi abbiamo soggiornato per 3 notti, all’inizio di febbraio, soprattutto perché avevamo bisogno di trovarci direttamente a Greenwich. L’hotel era ottimo, difficile trovare una qualche nota negativa. Le camere erano di dimensioni accettabili e in ottime condizioni, ben arredate, riscaldate e la colazione era eccellente (non abbiamo provato il ristorante, per cena). L’Hotel è situato nelle immediate vicinanze della stazione ferroviaria principale (il London Bridge è raggiungibile in 10 minuti) e ai DLR (Docklands Light Railways) per i collegamenti con il centro di Londra. Greenwich di per sé val bene una visita. L’hotel è accessibile per carrozzine.

Hotel e servizio eccellenti

Questo Novotel è davvero eccellente. Anche se si trova lontano dal centro di Londra, è posizionato in un'area carina, nei Docklands, a 5 minuti a piedi dalla stazione Custom House della DLR, da cui raggiungerete la Torre di Londra o la fermata di Bank in 25 minuti. Le camere sono molto pulite e moderne. La colazione: tutto ciò che potreste desiderare dalla frutta (fresca) ad ogni tipo di pane, toast, muffin, salmone, cereali, barrette di cereali e piatti caldi. Il personale è molto gentile e vi lascia fare il check-in prima del previsto, se la camera è pronta. C'è anche un deposito bagagli, a vostra disposizione. Ritorneremo in questo hotel sicuramente!

My wife and I stayed in this hotel for five nights at the end of January on a pre paid no refund bed and breakfast package.

The hotel is close to the centre of Greenwich, which has some nice shops and restaurants along with many places of historical interest.

The hotel adjoins Greenwich railway station from where you take the DLR to Canary Wharf or London Bank station. Mainline trains, which run very frequently also take you to London Bridge station in about 10 minutes, the underground system then runs from both London Bridge and Bank.

Although our room at the back of the hotel overlooked the station there were no problems with either privacy or noise.

The hotel is modern and clean with daily room service. All staff were friendly and always greeted us with a friendly hello. Reception and dining room staff in particular were always most helpful and pleasant.

Our room and bath room were adequate for our needs, facilities included an iron and ironing board, tea and coffee making facilities, a hair dryer, safe, mini-bar together with radio and TV, although the number of satellite stations was limited the main TV stations were available.

The only complaint about the room was that air conditioning was poor even in January and this could be a problem in warmer weather unless the hotel provided a fan.

Breakfast was the only meal we ate in the hotel, there was a wide choice of hot and cold items although a number of the hot items could have been a little warmer at times but this is a personal opinion.

All in all the price paid for our accommodation was fair and good value for what we got. I feel that the hotel is above average for this type of hotel and would rate it three star plus in the category.

I stayed in this hotel with my husband and my parents for a weekend break. The main purpose of our break was to see Wicked in the Apollo Victoria Theatre. Overall I was very happy with the hotel.

Liked: The location, the surrounding area, the hotel staff, breakfast, free internet access and printing facilities, the size of the room

The hotel is located directly next door to the train station and there are trains to London Bridge (10 mins journey time) and Cannon Street (15 mins journey time) approx every 20 mins. From there you can join the Tube or the tourist buses for sightseeing.

Disliked:

The rooms were a little cold but clean and a standard size. I'm not sure the hotel merits 4 star status - we stayed two nights and our towels were not changed. Also there was no shower cap or body lotion and the shower cubicle was small enough.

However for the amount we paid for the rooms these are only small complaints and I felt we got value for money.

I would certainly stay in this hotel again. We flew in through Heathrow which took 2 hours transfer time on Friday evening so next time I would look at a closer airport.
