Beaufort House

Beaufort House è un posto splendido per trascorrere qualche giorno a Londra, soprattutto per chi, come noi, viaggia con un bimbo piccolo: avere a disposizione uno spazioso appartamento, munito quindi di tutti i confort, anche di una cucina completa, è, infatti, la soluzione ideale.

L'appartamento in cui abbiamo soggiornato era perfettamente ed elegantemente arredato, semplicemente perfetto in tutto (posizione, arredo, attrezzature).

La casa, poi, è splendidamente posizionata, a poche decine di metri dai Grandi Magazzini Harrods ed a breve distanza da Piccadilly, ma nella quiete dei Beaufort Gardens, quindi senza il benchè minimo disturbo dovuto al rumore o al traffico.

Il personale alla reception - presente 24 ore su 24 - è sempre estremamente disponibile e cordiale, ed ha sempre risolto ogni nostro problema.

Inoltre, segnalo quel che potrebbe sembrare una piccola cosa, ma che, per contro, è stata per noi di grande importanza: nella bellissima sala comune della Casa - un ampio soggiorno con divani e poltrone a disposizione degli ospiti - era a disposizione del nostro bambino una gran quantità di giocattoli, grazie ai quali anche i momenti di pausa tra una visita e l'altra alle attrazioni di Londra diventavano piacevolissimi (sia per nostro figlio, che, naturalmente, per noi).

Il prezzo non è certamente economico, ma è assolutamente adeguato al servizio: sarà un piacere tornarci per la prossima gita a Londra!

We stayed over the mid term break at Beaufort House. We were a family of two adults, three teenagers, a 12 year old and a two year old. We had checked with Trip advisor and did as instructed: requested a refurbished apartment. They told us that they could not guarantee this, but in the end we did get one and it was lovely. TThe bedrooms were small but very nicely furnished. The kitchen had absolutely everything. The staff asked us if we wanted them to get anything in. As we were arriving around 2.30 in the afternoon and wanted to make the most of our day, we asked them to get lunch things in, which they did to the letter. We made a cooked breakfast each morning (though there are several nice places around where you could go if you could not be bothered).

It is steps from Harrods, the tube station, the Natural history museum. The staff could not have been more helpful, making all kinds of booking for us for show, plays etc, offereing to drop things up to our apartment, coming to show us how to use the VCR, etc. Especially Kannie, though they were all very nice.

The independence that hte apartment gave us was fantastic, much better than a hotel, though works out about the same price. I would come back again and really recommend it for larger groups of people visiting london. Use the staff and save yourself time and frustration to make your bookings!

This is an expensive and first class property. We stayed a week and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It is a quality flat in anybody's book and made us feel special every time we entered. The staff is excellent, always very friendly and helpful. The concierge helped us book West End shows and fine restaurants and we got excellent seats. Daily room service. No parking that I'm aware of. Absolutely terrific location in Knightsbridge, almost next to Harrod's. Plenty of very close restaurants and a tube station. A memorable visit.
