Ramada Plaza Gatwick

I stayed here as an overnight in Crawley. Brilliant for the airport. The check in process was simple and the staff were pleasant, the room was clean, and was an excellent size.

I didn't eat at the hotel, apart from breakfast, which was average at best.

Overall, this was an unremarkable stay, the plaza isn't a bad hotel at all, but I wasn't wowed. For the price, I'm not convinced that the hotel is a good value proposition.

Stayed here before we went on Holiday. We also used the car park for 2 weeks whilst we were away.

The hotel was immaculate, exceptional food as well. The wife does work for this chain, but we still were staying as normal guests and had an interconnectng room which was again really good. The pool was great as was the sauna and steam room. The connecting bus service to Gatwick was again spot on. We arrived and the bus was there within 5 mins of leaving the airport and spot on time as per their timetable! The kids think this was a brilliant hotel as do we!

We stayed at the hotel (like most people) because we had to catch an early morning flight. We got a fantastic deal with airport car parking so I have no complaints about that. The hotel was smart, clean, staff friendly and food reasonable. The thing that ruined our stay was an annoying buzzing sound outside the room, possibly from the air con. We asked to move rooms but the only one available was right next to the one we were in and had exactly the same problem. The noise completely stopped me sleeping, which was the whole point of staying there in the first place. I’ve read some of the other reviews and it doesn’t seem to be a common problem so perhaps we were just unlucky.
