We had an excellent evening at Tom Aikens. The food was great with lots of extras, and a very interesting selection of petit fours. The service attentive but unobstrusive, with waiters noticing as soon as our glasses were low. We had the fish menu and will go back to try the rest of the menu. Highly recommended.

The presentation of food, and the service at Tom Aikens were faultless, and in fact, very impressive. However, the quality of seafood while fresh, disappointed a little. Still, I will go back again to give it another chance before writing it off. The petite fours after dinner were the most impressive I've ever encountered. Overall, the meal was good value, with the toptable offer.

The fish menu at Tom Aikens is not to be missed - each course was beautifully presented and the portions were very generous. The petit fours are mind blowing - save room!

Tom Aikens restaurant was an excellent experience. We booked under a £32 toptable set-menu offer and were kind of expecting a small table in the corner and a couple of dishes that were left over from the a la carte menu. We ended up receiving about 6 dishes, all exquisitely presented and tasting great - really creative dishes. The service was also superb, and we were treated like kings. Total bill for two including wine came to £120. Absolute bargain and truly exceptional experience.

Tom Aiken's fish menu must be the best value dinner in town! Canapes, mackerel tartare, salmon and sorrel, red mullet and pistachio risotto, white chocolate and truffled ice cream and the coffee and petits fours were all unreservedly excellent, the first and last courses being exceptional. The breads, too, impressed in taste and texture. There was no reduction in the quality of all the ingredients or the precision of the cooking for the promotion. Service was attentive but unobtrusive.
