Cafe Rouge

Cafe Rouge Victoria is very handy for pre or after theatre dinner. It was ideally located as we had my elderly mother with us and didnt want to walking far. The best advantage was being able to book a table for 6 as the ones outside the station and near to the Apollo would not take a booking on saturday. The menu suits everyone from old to young and you know what you are going to get. Good value and nice food. Only downside was sat under very noisy airconditiong unit.

We booked at the establishment in the Victoria Shopping Centre without realising that it was not the best surroundings for the special meal we wanted. However, the food was very good and they even catered for special diets, eg No wheat or Diary menu.

Most chains in the Victoria area seem to be pretty good - probably due to large number of offices in the area. Cafe Rouge is not normally a top choice of ours but in this instance it provided reliable tasty breakfast fare in a pleasant setting. Worth booking for a breakfast as there are very few other restaurants providing breakfast in the area unless going for a hotel one.
