Clive Rowe's London

Clive Rowe is a Lancashire-born actor, who attended the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

Best-known for his wonderful performances as the Dame at the Hackney Empire Pantomime for the last eight years, Clive also has many TV and film credits to his name, including a role in Doctor Who. 

His stage performance in the National Theatre revival of Guys and Dolls won him the 1997 Olivier Award for Best Performance in a Supporting Role in a Musical.

A: More than I care to admit to!

A: I saw a Guildhall School of Music & Drama 3rd Year production of The Last 5 Years

A: If you can, walk Central London and stay off the Tube… you'll see more

Q: What's your favourite hidden gem in London?

A: Blacks – a private dining club

Q: What's the strangest thing you've ever seen in London?

A: When they had different people every hour on a plinth in Trafalgar Square [Anthony Gormley's One & Other]

Q: If you were invisible for the day where would you go?

A: Buckingham Palace

Q: What do you miss most when you're away from London?

A: My friends
