Paralympic Football at London 2012
Cheer on the world's best disabled players as they take part in 7-a-side football with the aim of taking the all-important gold medal back to their country.
The seven players have varying degrees of disability caused by cerebral palsy and the rules are adapted, with 60-minute matches and smaller goals.
The 7-a-side football event is one of two football events at the Paralympic Games; the other being 5-a-side Football for visually impaired players.
The 7-a-side version has been part of the Paralympic Games since 1984, while the 5-a-side competition was added 20 years later at Athens 2004.
Football at the Paralympic Games
While Brazil dominated the past two 5-a-side Football competitions at the Paralympic Games, the 7-a-side Football event was dominated by Ukraine, who won gold in the last two Games.
A 2-1 victory over neighbours Russia gave the Ukraine victory in the 2008 final, but only after a tense period of extra time. Iran gained bronze by beating Brazil.
