Trampoline Gymnastics at London 2012

Watch as the best competitors in Trampoline Gymnastics at the London 2012 Games twist and turn their way to Olympic stardom.

Trampoline Gymnastics has only been an Olympic sport since 2000, but the sheer skill and flexibility of the gymnasts makes it a terrific spectacle.

Sixteen men and 16 women compete for Olympic gold, and are judged by a panel on a series of different skills.

Trampoline is one of three gymnastics events at the Games, the others being Rhythmic Gymnastics and Artistic Gymnastics.

At the Beijing 2008 Games the home team, China, won gold medals in the male and female competitions, while Canada won both silver medals.

In fact, China swept all before it in all three Gymnastics disciplines winning 11 gold medals, nine more than its closest rivals United States and Russia.

Uzbekistan's Ekatarina Khilko won bronze in the women's event, one of only six medals for the Central Asian country.
