While Germany dominated in the Equestrian Eventing at the 2008 Olympic Games, and battled it out with The Netherlands in the Equestrian Dressage, Equestrian Jumping was a fight between two North American countries.
Canada took gold in the individual jumping and silver in the team jumping, while the United States claimed gold in the team event and bronze in the individual competition.
Old rivalries are set to be renewed at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
