Table Tennis is a sport which requires lightning-quick reactions and supreme skills.

The London 2012 Paralympic Table Tennis competition is split into different classes, which competitors classified according to their disability. The athletes compete either in a wheelchair or standing, depending on their classification.

There are 29 Paralympic gold medals on offer and 276 men and women competitors chasing them.

Table Tennis at the Paralympic Games

China followed up a clean-sweep in the men's and women's singles at the 2008 Olympic Games (winning gold, silver and bronze in both events) with a win of 13 gold medals in the 2008 Paralympic Table Tennis event.

France also excelled, winning 12 medals, including four golds, during the 2008 Paralympics.
