About The Wizard of Oz in London

The Wizard of Oz has been developed from the ever-popular 1939 MGM screenplay of the same name. 

The story follows farm girl Dorothy as she's transported from her home in Kansas to a magical kingdom called Oz. There, with the help of a Scarecrow, Tin Man, a Cowardly Lion, and her dog Toto, she tries to find her way home. But not before learning a few amazing lessons from characters like the wonderful Wizard of Oz, and the Wicked Witch of the West along the way.

Totally remastered for the stage by an award-winning creative team, this musical features all the songs from the original score, including:

Over the series, musical maestro Andrew Lloyd Webber and judges Sheila Hancock, Charlotte Church and John Partridge whittled the final few down to one lucky winner.

Manchester-born Danielle Hope beat all the other hopefuls to become the latest star voted for by the public to appear in a West End musical.
