Watkins presents The Luminiferous Aether, a new soundwork created through a series of field recordings made in the Arctic Circle. This ethereal piece, which the audience experiences through individual radio headsets grouped round a central transmitter, utilises solar wind signals - the charged particles emitted by the sun that create geomagnetic storms on earth.
