Jerusalem remains a world away from the cosmopolitan 'bubble' of Tel Aviv, but at its heart is Shushan, the only gay bar in Jerusalem, a much-loved haven for Jews and Arabs alike, owned by City Councillor Sa'ar Nathaniel. The eventual closure of the Shushan Bar is a painful blow, but this experiment in tolerance and co-existence lives on in its regulars. The screening is followed by a Q&A with Sa'ar Nathaniel and Ellen Goldberg, Executive Director of New Israel Fund UK which works to promote freedom, justice and equality for all Israel's citizens.
