Shakespeare's Globe Theatre presents a Christmas Cracker: its first-ever Christmas production. Expect a madcap visual feast of carnival, comedy and circus!
Footsbarn's Christmas Cracker at Shakespeare's Globe
Footsbarn Theatre is taking over Shakespeare's Globe Theatre for an exhilarating festive show.
The Cornwall-born group first appeared at the Globe in 2008 for the Shakespeare Party.
Now they're back with Christmas Cracker – a colourful show packed with amazing circus acts, magic, music, dance and puppets.
About Footsbarn's Christmas Cracker

Footsbarn's Christmas Cracker celebrates London's bawdy, pagan past and takes inspiration from a variety of festive traditions as well as Shakespeare's works.
There is plenty to keep the whole family entertained, including:
- A three-headed Shakespeare who discovers new words
- Juliet walking the tightrope while playing the violin
- An accordion-playing worm
- Ridiculous and amusing characters, such as the hedonistic Lord of Misrule
- Poetry reciting
The show consists of two, half-hour acts separated by an interval when you can enjoy mulled wine and hot food.
About Footsbarn Theatre

Foottsbarn Theatre was founded in Cornwall 35 years ago but since then the inventive group have toured the world.
Their shows combine music, magic and wild antics, all inspired by the complete works of Shakespeare.
After spending the last 20 years in France, Footsbarn Theatre returned to London last year for shows at the Globe and Victoria Park, where they performed A Midsummer Night's Dream.
Shakespeare's Globe at Christmas

The summer theatre season of Shakespeare's Globe finishes in October.
However, you can visit the theatre throughout the year for the Exhibition and Globe Theatre Tour.
There are also numerous events, lectures and workshops taking place as part of Globe Education, such as the annual community Christmas event, A Concert for Winter.
