Revolution We Love You
This event has finished
| Dates: | 21 November 2009 |
|---|---|
| Venue: | Tate Modern |
This panel discussion gathers thinkers, artists and curators to discuss the role played by art in revolutionary processes around the world. How the idea of revolution - so dear to radical political discourse - has fuelled human imagination throughout time, shaping its visual nightmares and dreams. Yet, revolution itself often seems to be just one commodity amongst many. The event traces the visual language of revolution from France in 1789.
