When he is approached with a business proposition by an attaché from Sieger Co, Denmark's largest oil and shipping corporation, Martin Vinge (Lars Mikkelsen), a former hard-nosed reporter and now 'the best headhunter in the country', sees a potentially controversial and yet highly lucrative professional opportunity. At a confidential meeting NF Sieger (Henning Moritzen), the elderly incumbent Sieger CEO, seemingly unsatisfied with the qualities of his son and heir apparent Daniel, challenges Martin to find him a worthy successor.
