The Call

The Call is a movement which uses the power of art to raise awareness of the talent and strength of the people of Ghana, and of Africa as a whole. It is a projection of positivity and peace from a too much maligned continent. The movement was launched in 2007 at its first exhibition held in central London and attended by,among others, Ghana's High Commissioner to the UK. The Call is fronted by Sami Bentil, the renowned Ghanaian artist and other contemporary Ghanaian artists. Behind the movement is Zetha Annan, a tireless promoter of art from her native Ghana.
