The 2012 Olympics spells eviction for the generations of Romany Gypsies living in East London. Seventeen year olf Pearl Penfold is one of them and as the bulldozers move in, Pearl falls in love with Joe from the local estate. Joe has to prove to himself to Pearl and her family before they are gone forever.
