Activity Point: Birds

Drop in to this fun activity with our science educators and discover how penguins and other birds are adapted to survive. Activities encourage pupils to look closely, make comparisons, discuss ideas and develop their knowledge and understanding of Antarctica, adaptations, habitats and weather. There are various learning themes on weather, landscape, adaptations, life processes, feeding, movement, habitats, observations and comparisons, using scientific knowledge to explain observations.
