This free club night kicks off with burlesque performance and continues with DJs spinning some retro indie hits. What more could you ask for?

Burlesque Meets Indie: A Match Made in Heaven

Burlesque and cabaret performances at Oh What a Lovely Recession start at 9pm. Book ahead on bookings@the-peacock-bar.co.uk if you'd like to reserve a seating area.

But be warned – this night requires audience participation, so if you don't want to join in, don't get too close to the front!

After the cabaret show, you can dance the night away to indie tunes from the 80s, 90s and 00s – there's even a bit of rock and house music thrown in.

Free Club Night in London

Oh What a Lovely Recession is absolutely free. (Provided you arrive before 11pm.)

There's even 2-for-1 on cocktails until 8pm to help your already-stretched wallet further.
