Uncle Vanya

Chekhov's masterpiece of frustrated longing and wasted lives was written in 1899. Its first production was directed by Stanislavski. It has been much revived, the title role having achieved the status of a modern Hamlet. This workshop production will research and explore the contemporary implications of the story.
