A show from comedian, playwright and grumpy old man Arthur Smith, who airs old gags and creates new ones, recruiting friends and passers-by in an attempt to prove that laughter is the one true metaphysical consolation. One of the comedians who shook up the world of light entertainment in the 80s, Arthur continues to experiment with the infinite possibilities of humour.
